European Recycling Platform acquires Serva

European Recycling Platform (ERP) Norway, a company of Landbell Group, have announced that ERP has acquired 100% ownership of Serva AS.

The merger will support both companies in their shared commitment to be a preferred partner for product related environmental solutions and provides a strategic opportunity to offer additional sustainable services that support company compliance obligations and take-back solutions for producers in Norway. In particular, Serva will provide a battery license, allowing additional services to members of ERP and obtaining immediate operational synergies. Strategic personnel Omar Khalid Mir, Market and Thor Christian Wiik Svendsen, Managing Director and Founder of Serva AS, will be retained within the organisation.

Wiik Svendsen, said: „With minor investments and against strong competitors we have succeeded to build Serva from start to sale since 2018. We have used our decades of experience and relations from various roles and companies in the business, to challenge both customers and suppliers with new ways of cooperation and thinking. Together with ERP we see a huge potential regarding suppliers, international customers and development. We really look forward to cooperate with our new colleagues in ERP and increase market shares and profitability together" says Wiik Svendsen.
